Company

Built by people who have run pharmacies before.

OneDose builds AI agents for the medication journey. It was founded by Deepesh Rajpal, who previously built Lifcare — one of India's first subscription pharmacies for chronic patients — and PharmaLlama, a Bangalore-based digital pharmacy. OneDose is his third healthcare venture, and it is based in Bangalore.

The reason the product is shaped the way it is: the work in a pharmacy is mostly volume and occasionally judgement, and the two need completely different treatment.

Who is behind OneDose?

Deepesh RajpalFounder & CEO

Founder of OneDose. Previously built Lifcare (one of India’s first subscription pharmacies for chronic patients) and PharmaLlama, a Bangalore-based digital pharmacy.

The two prior ventures are the reason OneDose is a medication company rather than a general healthcare AI company. Running a subscription pharmacy for chronic patients means discovering, in detail and at your own expense, that the hard part is not dispensing — it is everything around it. Whether the patient collected it. Whether they are still taking it in month three. Why they stopped. The phone ringing while you are trying to check a script.

That is a specific set of problems, and it is the set the agents were built for.

Why agents, specifically?

Because of the shape of the work. The medication journey is a long series of high-volume, well-defined, low-judgement tasks — answering a status call, reading a script, validating a refill, assembling an authorization, making a check-in call — wrapped around a small number of decisions that genuinely require a clinician.

Most of the cost sits in the first category and most of the value sits in the second, and today the same expensive, qualified people do both. That is not a technology observation; it is what a day in a pharmacy actually looks like.

Agents fit that shape: automate the volume, escalate the judgement, and be explicit about the boundary between them. That is also why every agent page on this site spends as much space on what the agent will not do as on what it will — the boundary is the product.

What does OneDose not claim?

Worth stating on the company page rather than burying in a compliance footnote, because it is a decision about how we do business rather than a legal position.

We do not publish outcome numbers we cannot attribute. You will not find a readmission-reduction percentage or an adherence lift on this site. Those figures are only meaningful with the deployment, the cohort and the measurement method attached. When we have one we can attribute, it will appear with its source.

We do not name integrations we have not confirmed. Integration depth varies by system and region, and we will confirm what is live for your estate in writing rather than publish a matrix nobody has checked.

We do not display customer references we cannot evidence. A reference a procurement reviewer cannot verify is worth less than no reference at all — it is the first thing they will check.

This is not modesty. Uncorroborated claims are inert: a buyer checks them, and an answer engine discards what it cannot cross-reference. The claims that survive are the ones worth making.

Frequently asked

Who founded OneDose?
OneDose was founded by Deepesh Rajpal, who previously built Lifcare — one of India’s first subscription pharmacies for chronic patients — and PharmaLlama, a Bangalore-based digital pharmacy. OneDose is his third healthcare venture.
Where is OneDose based?
OneDose is based in Bangalore, India, and works with hospital systems, pharmacy chains and care teams internationally.
Why did OneDose build AI agents for medication rather than a general healthcare AI?
Because the founding team had already run pharmacies and knew where the work actually is. The medication journey is a series of well-defined, high-volume, low-judgement tasks — calls, intake, refills, authorizations, follow-up — wrapped around a small number of decisions that genuinely need a clinician. That shape suits agents specifically: automate the volume, escalate the judgement.
Does OneDose have customers?
Ask us and we will tell you what we can, with the customer’s permission. This site does not currently display named customer references or case studies, because we do not have ones we can evidence and publish — and an unverifiable reference is worth less than none in a procurement process.
